FTC shows us Super Friends Superman

Out of the blue this image popped up on FTC’s facebook page. I think the biggest surprise for me is the expression, to me the Super Friends are all about smiles. This isn’t a deal breaker for me. These look like they were taken with an iphone in China, so i look forward to the official photography on this series.

Sorry, that was weak, even for me. Entertainment Earth unveiled an exclusive 18″ Removable Cowl Robin from Figures Toy Company yesterday.

I really like the idea of these, I’m not sure how many I can afford to buy (both cash and space are a rare commodity) but as Benjamin Holcomb recently mentioned, the grand size of these does make you feel like a kid again.

Bam! without warning this week Figures Toy Company announced Dukes of Hazzard wave 2 by showing off the figures and taking pre-orders which had a lot of fans really excited. I’m by no means a Dukes fan but I can understand how cool it is to get the anicliary characters.

More shots after the jump, to pre-order directly from FTC please visit their site

Breaking: MegoMuseum/Figures Toy Co Join Forces

This week’s Mego Museum Newsletter reveals that they have worked out a deal to be the exclusive home for updates and reveals from Figures Toy Company.

Which makes a lot of sense, considering the Museum is pretty much dedicated to this kind of thing and it won’t get lost in a sea of updates from general action figure sites.

Every Friday will see a new reveal via the Museum front page or the newsletter, 2015 sounds expensive. Goodbye Money!

Captain Canuck Launch Recap

This past weekend saw the launch of the 8″ Odeon Toys Captain Canuck action figure in comic shops across Canada and thanks to our spies we captured a lot of it. Above is current Canuck artist Kalman and Silver Snail owner George setting at the downtown Toronto location for a signing event.

At Big B Comics in Hamilton, Captain  Canuck creator Richard Comely signed figures for anxious fans. Any one who’s ever met Richard can tell you he’s an extremely genuine person.

This is Strange Adventures in Halifax, although you can buy the Captain at any of their 3 locations in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Big B in Niagara Falls had a beautiful display of figures right smack in the center of the store. Visiting there is a must if you’re visiting at the Falls, it’s not far from Clifton Hill.
Where to buy Captain Canuck?

You can always order the Captain  Canuck figure from the PlaidStallions Online store, especially if you’re not in Canada.

If you are in Canada and live in one of these cities, it’s always best to support your local comic shop, call them today to reserve your Canuck!
