Vintage Mego: Pocket Superheroes Bat Machine

This week’s installment talks about 1980 and Mego ventures into electronics with the launch of the Pocket Superheroes Bat Machine and Spider-Machines.

We talk a bit about how electronic games hurt Mego more than passing on Star Wars and their partners in Mexico Ensueno toys.

Vintage Mego Fist Fighting Superheroes

Introduced in 1975 by Mego as an attempt to get that “Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots” money, the Fist Fighting Superheroes by Mego were a worldwide phenomenon that created many variations in the United Kingdom and in Mexico.

This episode of Vintage Mego talks about the US versions of the Fist Fighters but also takes a look at the efforts of Toltoys, Palitoy Bradgate and Lili ledy.

Special thanks to Eddie Berst, Jesus Magana and the Toltoys kid for their awesome generosity and kindness in creating this episode.

Gulliver Super Heroes: Vintage Mego

This is a change of pace for Vintage Mego, these figures weren’t made by Mego heck the company had been out of business! We’re not even sure they’re licensed.

Presenting the Gulliver Super Heroes, a line that crossed the Kenner Super Powers with the Mego Pocket Superheroes.

This video is intended for adult (18+) collectors only.
