The MegoMuseum newsletter revealed this week that NECA has teased (very) early shots of the Bill and Ted retro figures.
I’m fond of the original film but I don’t need these. I will say though, it’s a bloody good idea and these will likely sell.
Now Freaked action figures is a different story……
Time to dig some eight inch graves, Mego Museum reporting:
“The latest Diamond Select Star Trek set is now available for Pre-Order. The Cheron is a reverse of the previous release and the Red Shirt figure comes in two different hari colours and ranks, the variations are evenly spread in a case. Click here to order for this May!
2016 will see Star Trek’s 50th anniversary and Diamond is bringing back the Retro line in a big way. This new set is just one of many we’re set to see in the next twelve months. Follow us on Twitter: @megomuseum for more updates.”
The annual gathering of Canadian Mego collectors is this Sunday November 8th in Burlington, ON. Mego North is part of the bigger Canadian Toy Con, a popular vintage toy show in of itself. A block of tables of Mego collectors is formed within the show, there is an exclusive custom figure of a Canadian icon (yet to be revealed) and then all are invited to an early after show dinner across the street.
