Mego Museum Trading Cards Return at Mego Meet 2023

Mego Museum Trading Cards Return at Mego Meet 2023

Good News, Everybody! The long-awaited series 2 of the Mego Museum Action Jackson cards are seeing print and distribution at Mego Meet 2023. Many Museum members donated to sponsor these cards but they had fallen by the wayside. I’m happy to say that Robyn Adams (designer of all the Museum trading cards) delivered these just in time. I (Toy-Ventures) was more than happy to pick up the extra cost of producing them on the fly. Thanks to our donors and to Jason at White Elephant Toyz for officially allowing us to use AJ. The initial sets will be given away free at Mego Meet 2023 as part of Power-Con. Portions will also be distributed to Museum members via volunteer distributors. Stay Tuned. Mego Meet is part of Power-Con 2023 with panels, freebies, kid’s custom contests and a whole lot more. Ticket information can be found here:   #megomeet #actionjackson #megomuseum #powercon Mego Meet 2023 will become part of Power-Con August 11-13 in Columbus, Ohio. Greater Columbus Convention Center 400 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43215 USA Tickets can be purchased here: https://thepower-con.com/tickets-exclusives/

Vintage Mego: The Lost Continent (Action Jackson or Planet of the Apes?)

Vintage Mego takes a look this week at the 1974 Mego Playset “The Lost Continent” which is available in both Action Jackson branded packaging and one that states it’s for the Mego Planet of the Apes figures. Which one is it? We reveal our theory as to why this may have happened.
