  Lincoln Monsters Flash Back! From the 1976 Montgomery Ward Christmas Catalogue comes the most iconic image the toy line would inspire: an all-out battle with the Mego World’s Greatest Superheroes. Now in 2024, the Lincoln Monsters will soon be looking to spar with the 50th Anniversary releases from Mego. Who wins? We all do. Follow our Facebook Page for more Monstrous Updates ! Lincoln Monsters Megolike Mego Knock off toys   ABOUT LINCOLN MONSTERS A vintage toy brand is rising from the grave! “Lincoln Monsters” is a new collaboration from White Elephant Toyz, Absolutely Retro and Plaid Stallions, who have joined forces to make dimestore retro monsters. The name is inspired by the legendary knock-off toy company Lincoln International. However, Lincoln Monsters reimagines the company as a 70s third-rate film studio, making exploitation and copying horror trends. Each Lincoln Monster release and creation will center around a fictional movie from Lincoln International Studios, premiering with The Evil of Count Dracula.
The 8″ Evil of Count Dracula figure will be on a type S body, with a look inspired by the past but retaining the LM house style.
Each Evil of Dracula figure will come in a gorgeous solid box with artwork by Chris Franklin depicting the gorey poster for the movie made to cash in on Hammer horror. Like all good horror shows, this is a double bill as Lincoln Monsters will at the same time also release “The Power of Frankenstein,” featuring a stunning poster by Chris Franklin. “Our goal is to create well-made figures inspired by cheap knock-offs,” explains White Elephant Toyz Jason Schiermeyer who adds, “At a collector-friendly price point.” Subsequent releases from Lincoln Monsters will include original male and female character designs that cross multiple film genres from Science Fiction, Horror and Exploitation. Hello folks, the day has come; pre-orders are now open for the officially licensed Tura Satana action figure!

White Elephant Toyz and Odeon present the first officially licensed action figure of Tura Satana.

This limited edition action figure is 8″ tall and features a detailed outfit, natural hair, motorcycle gloves, and boots. Tura is ready to kick your other action figures’ asses.

Each Tura Satana Action figure comes in vintage style packaging with striking artwork by Joseph Michael Linsner, creator of “Dawn.”

You have two options to get her below, as this was a co-production.

Tura Satana Action Figure Update!

Great news from the factory floor as White Elephant Toyz shared some new images of the “Fresh from the mould” pieces for the upcoming Tura Satana action figure.

The figure’s head has come out of the moulding process, looking just like the original sculpt. The figure will also come with custom-sculpted boots (based on Varla’s look) and gloves.

The official  action figure is almost here, sign up for our mailing list to get an exclusive art print and early notice when the figure is ready, so you can, as Varla would say, “Go get her!”

 

The Tura Satana action figure is being co-produced by White Elephant Toyz and PlaidStallions under license from Tura Satana Inc. and will be available in late 2022. This 8″ retro cloth figure will be a limited edition and come in an exclusive solid box with art by Joseph Michael Linsner.

Truly honoured to unveil the packaging art for the official Tura Satana action figure coming soon from Odeon and White Elephant Toyz.

The artwork is by the incredible Joseph Michael Linsner, and he blew us away with it, exceeding our expectations.

The package is truly a labour of love and my favourite bit of layout work ever. The vision was to give Tura a truly vintage package and also add a much-needed female member to a Particular Team of Crime Killers.

Faster Action Figure! Kill! Kill!

Legendary actress Tura Satana finally gets her own action figure!

LOS ANGELES, CA – “One of Tura’s wishes was for someone to create an action figure of her in full Varlamode,” says Siouxzan Perry, CEO of Tura Satana Inc. in announcing White Elephant Toyz and PlaidStallions.com will produce the first officially licensed Tura Satana action figure. In full Varla mode!

“Satana, star of cult films Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and Astro Zombies is famous for being one of the first to use her real-life martial arts skills on-screen, firmly cementing her status as one of cinema’s all-time great action star pioneers.

Tura is also the subject of the forthcoming documentary TURA!, which chronicles her wild on and offscreen life.”

The first release will be based on Satana’s starring role as Varla in the iconic film, “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” The figure will be fully articulated 8” in a retro cloth outfit complete with a vintage style (and environmentally friendly) box. Variants of this figure and other scales are also planned for 2023.

The official Tura Satana action figure will be available in 2022 at Plaidstallions.com and Whiteelephanttoyz.com websites

Limited Edition Captain Canuck at Silver Snail Comics

Silver Snail Comics has created exclusive signed/numbered limited edition Odeon Toys Captain Canuck action figure in time for the release of the Captain’s new book. This one featuring packaging art by Kalman Andrasofszky.

Each figure includes Includes a Silver Snail courier bag containing a Captain Canuck #1 “comic book” scaled to the figure.

Captain Canuck Launch Recap

This past weekend saw the launch of the 8″ Odeon Toys Captain Canuck action figure in comic shops across Canada and thanks to our spies we captured a lot of it. Above is current Canuck artist Kalman and Silver Snail owner George setting at the downtown Toronto location for a signing event.

At Big B Comics in Hamilton, Captain  Canuck creator Richard Comely signed figures for anxious fans. Any one who’s ever met Richard can tell you he’s an extremely genuine person.

This is Strange Adventures in Halifax, although you can buy the Captain at any of their 3 locations in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Big B in Niagara Falls had a beautiful display of figures right smack in the center of the store. Visiting there is a must if you’re visiting at the Falls, it’s not far from Clifton Hill.
