Vintage Mego Fist Fighting Superheroes

Introduced in 1975 by Mego as an attempt to get that “Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots” money, the Fist Fighting Superheroes by Mego were a worldwide phenomenon that created many variations in the United Kingdom and in Mexico.

This episode of Vintage Mego talks about the US versions of the Fist Fighters but also takes a look at the efforts of Toltoys, Palitoy Bradgate and Lili ledy.

Special thanks to Eddie Berst, Jesus Magana and the Toltoys kid for their awesome generosity and kindness in creating this episode.

Mego Power Action Superman: Vintage Mego History

This week we take a look at a personal “Holy grail” of mine that i recently managed to acquire. The Power Action Superman was produced in the United Kingdom for a toy company called “Denys Fisher” but the story behind its creation is an interesting one.

ReMastered Mego Commericals Coming Soon

In the “Epic News” department, former PAC Toys President Joe Ruzzi has shared his Mego Commercial reels with the Mego Museum. This allows us to see spots for the first time as they were intended and not from 17th generation VHS copy.

The first two releases are out there and wow, the sound and colors are so crisp and nice.

The Museum promises to add a new commercial every week in their Mego Museum newsletter.

Mego Museum gets the scoop on the New Teen Titans

Mego Museum has exclusive first look at the cyborg prototype from Figures Toy Company

Been late to the game but the Mego Museum has the scoop on the New Teen Titans Cyborg and Nightwing. While the praise is pretty unanimous for Cyborg, fans are mixed on the open mouth look of Nightwing. Put me in the “Like” camp on that one but to each their own.

Three new DC Figures Revealed at Figures Toy Company

If you’re into Mego and DC Comics, then Christmas just came early as Figures Toy Company just released shots of their 8 inch versions of Harley Quinn, Scarecrow and Mary Marvel figures on their facebook page.

Personally I’m pretty pumped for these, especially more female heroes.

Lots of discussion going on at the Figures Toy Company message board that’s part of the Mego Museum.

You can preorder these at the Figures Toy Company website.
