If you’re into Mego and DC Comics, then Christmas just came early as Figures Toy Company just released shots of their 8 inch versions of Harley Quinn, Scarecrow and Mary Marvel figures on their facebook page.
Personally I’m pretty pumped for these, especially more female heroes.

There has been some grumbling about the price of these going up this go-round but EE has solved that problem by at least offering free shipping on the next four. This is a crazy wave of oddball character that I never thought I’d see, so I must admit to being weirdly excited.

Sorry, that was weak, even for me. Entertainment Earth unveiled an exclusive 18″ Removable Cowl Robin from Figures Toy Company yesterday.
I really like the idea of these, I’m not sure how many I can afford to buy (both cash and space are a rare commodity) but as Benjamin Holcomb recently mentioned, the grand size of these does make you feel like a kid again.
This Saturday in Mississauga Ontario, Gotham Central will be hosting a new location grand opening, among the honoured guests will be Captain Canuck creator Richard Comely, signing the newly released Captain Canuck Action Figure.

I always look forward to seeing what obscure DC or Marvel character Austin has mined from the “Who’s Who” and made into Mego gold. Here he’s made an obscure Aquaman villain look pretty darn cool. See more at the Mego Museum.
Entertainment Earth has the new Wolverine Set from Diamond Select up for pre-order. Even though I love the fact that we’re getting a new member of the WGSH in a classic style, I’m a little Wolverined out. I’ll still buy one, I’m a hoarder…
The long awaited release of the Sea Ghost action figure from Nemo Publishing is finally almost here. Expected to land in January, Nemo is now offering a pre-order on the figure at their web store.

Sources tell us that the Odeon Toys Limited Edition Captain Canuck Figure will be available for Pre-Order right after Christmas this year. The figure will retail for $24.99 and ship the first week of January.
The good Captain will be available at the PlaidStallions store, Ebay and at Big B Comic Stores.
